North Coast Property receives 2009 Best of Business Award
North Coast Property Inspections LLC has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Building inspection service category by the Small Business Commerce Association.
The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that have demonstrated what makes small business a vital part of the American economy.
The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.
“This just verifies what our customer surveys were telling me,” Tom said.
Owner of North Coast Property Inspections, Tom Young, has over 10 years in the Home Inspection/Home Assessments/Project Management field. Young is a 2003 graduate of Inspection Training Associates, (ITA), recognized by American Society of Home Inspectors and National Association of Home Inspectors.
North Coast Property Inspections is a member of the National and Ohio chapter of NAHI.
Young serves on the Ohio chapter board of directors and is in his 3rd year. Young holds the title of “Certified Residential Inspector” (CR1).
Tom has over 400+ Continuing Education Hours in the home inspection/home assessment field. All inspections are done to NAHI Ethics and Standards.
“We feel that our main jobs are to evaluate the structure, educate the client about the home they are looking at and the proper future maintenance needs. We service Erie, Huron, Sandusky, Ottawa, and Wood counties.” Tom said.North Coast Property Inspections is a full time home inspection company and are not involved in any home type repairs. Tom stated, “We are not associated with any realtor/real-estate company or contractor. We offer a professional, unbiased inspection of properties. We do inspections for both, buyers and sellers, seven days a week, with hours to fit our client’s schedule. We are fully insured with Liability and E & 0 Insurance.”
The business uses an easy to read inspection format along with Client Consultation. Three copies of the inspection are left with the client on the day of inspection with digital photos to follow within 24 to 48 hours.“We stand by our motto, “When only the best will do,” said Young.
