Goal Getters 4-H help the community
With the economy and many job layoffs the BCS Food Pantry located in Oak Harbor has helped many people in this time of need.
The Goal Getters of Ottawa County has donated numerous items over the past couple of months to help out the community.
Week by week each 4-H member brought non-perishible food items to meetings.
Then were deliverd to the BCS Food Pantry located at St Paul United Church of Christ fo donation.
Food items consisted of pasta, soup, canned fruit, vegetables, beans (protein) and many other items.
The Food Pantry has been helping families in the BCS district for 16 years.
With donations they are able to continue the success of the program.
