Rocket teams in tournament action

With the regular season winding down the Oak Harbor Rockets boys and girls basketball teams embark their journeys on the road to State with the upcoming sectional action.

The Lady Rockets open their tournament play on Wednesday February 24th at Sandusky High School at 8:00pm against the Lady Redmen of Bellevue, a familiar foe in recent years during tournament action. The Lady Redmen are the 3rd seed in the Ashland District division II action.

The winner of the Lady Rockets game will face the winner of the Clyde Fliers and Perkins Pirates on Saturday February 27th at 8:00pm at Sandusky High School.

The Oak Harbor Rockets boys will start their tournament action against the Toledo Scott Bulldogs of the City League.

The Rocket boys play on Tuesday March 2nd at Clay High School. The winner of that game will take on another Bulldog team, the Rossford Bulldogs. That game will be played on Friday March 5th at 8:00pm again at Clay High School.

The boys are competing in the Division II Bowling Green district.
