Kelly Weidner and John Biggert Jr. exchange vows

Kelly Sue Weidner and John Lawrence Biggert, Jr. were married on October 4, 2008 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge, by Pastor Keith Baker. A reception with dinner and dancing followed at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds in Oak Harbor, OH.

The Bride wore an ivory gown with accents of champagne and silver throughout it. It had a strapless neckline with a drop waist and full organza skirt with a chapel length train. Her gown was also embellished with exquisite beading and embroidery. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of assorted wine-colored flowers. The honor attendants and bridesmaids wore strapless champagne-colored satin a-line dresses with beaded bodices complete with cascaded fronts. They carried smaller bouquets very similar to the Bride's.

Matron of Honor was Amanda Lenke, Sister of the Bride and the Bridesmaids included Kathy Camp, Friend of the Bride, Corrie Diefenthaler, Friend of the Bride and Morgan Biggert, Sister of the Groom. The Flower Girl was Taylor Lenke, God-Daughter and Niece of the Bride.

The Groom wore a black tuxedo with a camouflage vest and tie. His boutonniere was a cream rose with wine-colored accents and eucalyptus. The Best Man and Groomsmen wore tuxedos and boutonnieres similar to the Groom's.

The Best Man was Charles Biggert, Cousin of the Groom. Groomsmen included Travis Ottney, Friend of the Groom, Thomas Tack, Friend of the Groom and Jamie Stoops, friend of the Groom. The Ring bearer was Bryce Hofacker, Nephew of the Groom.

Parents of the Bride are John and Susan Weidner of Elmore, OH. Parents of the Groom are John and Lynnette Biggert, Sr. of Graytown, OH and Terry and Julie Ploeger of Las Vegas, NV.

The Bride is a 2001 graduate of Woodmore High School and a 2007 graduate of Terra State Community College. She is currently employed as an Administrative Assistant at Magruder Hospital. The Groom is a 2002 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and Penta County. He is currently employed as a Certified Welder.

The couple resides in Oak Harbor.
