Grand Jury Indictments returned
After a recent session of the Ottawa County Grand Jury, indictments have now been returned against the following individuals, according to Prosecuting Attorney Mark Mulligan:
Bradley R. Lester, 23, whose last known address is Elyria, has been charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering, both felonies of the fifth degree, along with two felony counts of Theft and one misdemeanor count of Theft, after lie reportedly broke into several cars in Port Clinton and Lacarne in January and February of this year.
Emily Kiss, 21, Toledo, has been indicted on one count of Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree, after officers of the Clay Township Police Department allegedly found her in possession of heroin last September.
Travis J. Perkins, 6290 County Road 85, Gibsonburg, and Rodrigo R. Gonzales, Jr., 405 S. Main Street, Gibsonburg, both 18, have each been charged with multiple counts of Breaking and Entering, Theft, and Burglary. The charges are the result of an investigation into dozens of car entries in Elmore last month. Reports indicate that the pair took items from the vehicles totaling over $3,000, and also entered at least four garages.
Bradley N. Shepherd, 32, 2190 N. Centerfield Drive, Genoa, has been indicted on one count each of Possession of Drugs and Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments, a felony of the fifth degree and misdemeanor of the second degree, respectively.
According to reports of the Genoa Police Department, Shepherd was found in possession of heroin and a syringe in May at the Centerfield Drive residence.
Warrants have been issued for Lester, Perkins, and Gonzales. Kiss and Shepherd have been issued summonses to make their initial appearances in the Ottawa County Court of Common Pleas on April 5,2010.
