T-shirt design contest

The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce is holding a t-shirt design contest for a Village of Oak Harbor 175th Anniversary t-shirt. There will only be 500 of these anniversary shirts available and they will be printed at the Rocket Shop by River Ridge Creations.

We are looking for a front and back design; however, the back of the t-shirt will have 15 business card sized ads that will need to be incorporated into the design.

You may enter a front side only if you choose. The colors available for the design are red, green, and black, and the t-shirts will be white, gray, and tan.

You may use logos, photos, or original drawings and the design may be created on the computer or hand drawn. The design should incorporate the 175th anniversary of the village, as well as be a representation of Oak Harbor itself.

Entries must be submitted to the chamber office by March 22nd, 2010 and the winner will be announced at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 27, 2010. The winner will receive the first t-shirt, recognition at the Independence Day Celebration and a spot in the Apple Festival Parade to showcase their design.

If you would like to pre-order a shirt to guarantee a specific size/color, place an ad on the back, or have any questions please call the chamber office at 419-898-0479 or email us at chamber@oakharborohio.net.
