PERS

The Ottawa County Public Employees Retirees (PERS) Chapter 82 Luncheon meeting will take place at the Riverview Nursing Home Senior Center on March 8, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Our speaker will be Jessica Ford, the Regional Community Affairs Director for Northwest Ohio. She will present information on responsibilities of the Ohio Treasury and what resources are available to us. Also speaking will be Brenda Griffith, Regional Liaison for the Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner's office will be presenting information on voting rights.

Knights breakfast

On Sunday, March 7, 2010, the Oak Harbor Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring an 'all you can eat" French Toast and Sliced Ham Family Breakfast at St. Boniface Catholic Church. A menu that includes homemade rolls, homemade applesauce, coffee, hot chocolate and juice will be served beginning at 9:30 A.M. Donation is $5.00 for adults, senior citizens $4.50 and children under 12 $3.00. Proceeds will benefit K of C charitable and benevolent activities.

Tree Commission

The Village of Oak Harbor Tree Commission has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, March 18, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers located at 146 N. Church Street to discuss plans for the 2010 Arbor Day Celebration.

Athletic Raffle

The Oak Harbor Athletic Booster Reverse Raffle will be held at Ole Zim's Wagon Shed on March 27, 2010

Tickets are $75.00 and include a great Old Zim's meal, all drinks, and most importantly the raffle. Dinner tickets are also available for $25, but must be accommodated with a Raffle Ticket. One dinner ticket per raffle ticket.

This year the grand prize will once again be $5,000, but the cash and prizes do not stop there. Once again we will have our traditional sideboard, Lucky 20, 50/50, and 60 count drawings, and yes, the popular reverse bingo will be back.
